The Vasquez de Coronado is a boat from the film Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989).
Description[]
The Vasquez de Coronado is an ocean-going freighter-ship during the 1930s. The boat was wrecked in the year 1938.
History[]
The Vasquez de Coronado was a freighter-ship owned by a criminal antiques collector known as, "The Man in the Panama hat". The boat was named after the Cross of Coronado, a golden cross which he amorally obtained in 1912 after a quarrel with a young Indiana Jones. In 1938, Jones infiltrated the ship to retrieve the cross. In the ensuing fight, the ship was blown up with the man in the Panama hat aboard by ignited barrels of gasoline.
