The Tropical Hideaway is a restaurant in Disneyland's Adventureland. It is predominately themed towards Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room but adjacent to the Jungle Cruise.

Backstory[]
The Tropical Hideaway is a Polynesian restaurant adjacent to the Enchanted Tiki Room. The Tropical Hideaway is also an outpost used by the Jungle Navigation Company. This outpost also has a history with the Society of Explorers and Adventurers, an aristocratic secret society of western colonists.
Development history[]
The Tropical Hideaway replaced Aladdin's Oasis in 2018, itself having replaced the Tahitian Terrace in 1993.

- The Tropical Hideaway contained the first reference to Disney Parks character Camellia Falco, a major character in the Tokyo DisneySea attraction Soaring: Fantastic Flight.
- Rosita's hat and cane reference the removed Enchanted Tiki Room character of Juan the Barker Bird.
- There are several references to Aladdin and Aladdin's Oasis, the restaurant preceding the Tropical Hideaway. There is a small market selling, "Exotic Lamps" and, "Magic Carpets" in brass and silk. Additionally, a mosaic of the Magic Carpet from Aladdin decorates the ground of the Tropical Hideaway. Rosita mentions remembering when the Tropical Hideaway was, "A real Oasis".
- At the end of the Jungle Cruise, there is an advertisement for the hideaway. This reads, "Don't forget to stop at the TROPICAL HIDEAWAY Cuisine for the curious lowest prices best selection guaranteed. All items guaranteed delicious, EVERYONE WELCOME".[1] Within the boathouse, a map created by Dr. Albert Falls in the 19th century identifies the region as an, "Unidentified Tributary".
- Rosita appears in the Jungle Cruise film as pet to Nilo Nemolato in 1916, Porto Velho, Brazil.
