This was a wooden mask adorned with feathers, fake hair and a fanged smiling face.

Background[]

The ancient magic-user Trader Sam came into possession of the mask at an unknown point in time. He wore the mask for a while in the early half of the 20th century but seemingly retired it by 1938. The mask would be mounted within his Polynesian bar.

Trader Sam wore this mask in the Jungle Cruise for many years until its removal in 2001.

The film's Trader Sam has a mask reminiscent of that from the attraction albeit made from an animal's skull. It is implied that this mask was actually created by Frank Wolff as part of his con.

Trivia[]

  • The mask is more African in design than South America, resembling those worn by the headhunter tribe.
