The Tiger of Courage is an object from Jungle Cruise: Wildlife Expeditions.
Description[]
The Tiger of Courage is a large medallion which depicts the likeness of a tiger. The Tiger of Courage had magical properties and was used to represent a connection with the natural world.
History[]
The Tiger of Courage was one of three known magical medallions which represented a connection with nature along with the Elephant of Wisdom and Monkey of Cleverness. The three medallions were also seemingly connected to an ancient Cambodian temple of the Khmer Empire which contained the same carvings as the medallions, the same wildlife, and which bore a magical connection to the medallions.
The medallions were heavily used by riverboat skippers in the early half of the 20th century who promoted environmentalist ideals. The only known distributor for these medallions during this time was a South American merchant named Chief Nah-mee.
