Thompson J. Gazelle is a character from the Adventure Trading Company.

History[]

Thompson J. Gazelle was an individual in the 1930s who worked as a journalist and art-critic for The Daily Gnus newspaper. Around 1935/1936, they interpreted a troop of gorillas as performing William Shakespeare's Hamlet and reported on this in the Daily Gnus. By 1938, they wrote a book titled, "Gorilla Theatre", presumably on the subject.
