The Theatre of the Stars is an open-air/proscenium-arch theatre located on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood, LA. The theatre is outdoors with a large canopy over the audience. While the theatre predominately hosts stage-shows, it has been known to show films. The theatre was located between Carthay Circle Theatre and the Hollywood Tower Hotel while across from Sunset Ranch.

In Minnie Mouse's dressing room was a poster for a fictitious Disney Pictures film titled, "The Jungle Cruise" starring herself and Mickey Mouse. This poster mentioned the show as having premiered at the Theatre of the Stars on the Sunday, July 17th of an unknown year. Cast and crew listed on the poster who might have attended this premiere include: Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Trader Sam, Skipper Lasseter, Skipper Brennan, H. Goff, B. Evans, M. Davis and operatives of the Jungle Navigation Company.[1] This film was also a tribute to the 1951 film The African Queen which inspired imagineer Harper Goff's development of the Jungle Cruise and which has Mickey in the role of Charlie Allnut while Minnie is in the role of Rose Sayer.
