Description[]
The Tears of the Moon is a mystical tree in a temple of the the Lágrimas de Cristal region of the Amazon rainforest which grows unique flowers known as the Tears of the Moon. These flowers are supposedly capable of curing any disease while slowing down the aging process.

Original sources called the tree, the Tree of Life. This sharing its name with the Tree of Life, a Disneyoendron tree from Disney's Animal Kingdom.

Jungle Cruise (film)[]
The Tree of Life is the central MacGuffin of this film. It is sought after by Lily Houghton and German mercenaries. The tree blooms when the arrow-head of the sacred tribe of Lágrimas de Cristal is places in the Dome-base of the tree, on a red moon night, the tree blooms bearing millions of flowers, however if the moon's rays fades far from the tree, the tree dies until it the arrow head placement and the red moon arrives.

The map used by the Houghton expedition to find the tree is framed in both the Jungle Navigation Company's Amazon River Base and boathouse in the Lost Delta of India. Also in the Amazon River Base is a crate labelled, "A. Falls Botanical Expedition", likely referencing Dr. Albert Falls' search for the tree.
