Tales from Adventureland is a Disney book series inspired by Adventureland in the parks, written by Jason Lethcoe. The series revolves around Shrunken Ned's grandson, Andy Stanley, fighting a villainous organization known as the Collective on behalf of the Jungle Explorers Society. The series is also generally considered to be set in its own continuity.

- Protagonist Andy Stanley is likely named after historic adventurer Sir Morton Stanley (1841-1904).
- The JES was made as an analogue for the Society of Explorers and Adventurers in the parks, which Disney has a history of gate-keeping from writers dealing with parks materials.[1]
