"Skipper Marge" was a black woman who worked for the colonial Jungle Navigation Company in the Wilds of Adventureland during the 1930s. In 1937, she was photographed making, "Much needed repairs" to company equipment. This photograph was framed with a plaque in the company's Amazon River Base.
