Priyanka Manhas is a character from the Adventure Trading Company.

History[]

Biography[]

Priyanka Manhas was a journalist for the colonial newspaper The Daily Gnus during the 1930s. Around 1936, they wrote an, "Expose" on the history of a medallion known as the Elephant Juju while its source the colonial Adventure Trading Company was visiting the regions of, "Adventureland". This article effectively served as an advertisement for the juju which praised past recipricantt including British colonizers Dr. Albert Falls and Lord Henry Mystic.

Manhas cited Falls' claiming of Schweitzer Falls as the reason he earned the Elephant Juju. The Juju itself was modelled after an Indian elephant depiction from the Khmer ruins (at the time, Shir Lee's Temple).

Mystic Manor[]

In the article, Manhas mentions Lord Henry Mystic having acquired the Juju and his estate of Mystic Manor in the colony of Mystic Point where he keeps a collection of claimed artifacts from across the globe.

Trivia[]

  • Manhas erroneously placed Falls', "Discovery" of Schweitzer Falls in 1903 while the certificate of discovery in the Skipper Canteen explicitly states it to have occurred in 1891.
  • The name Priyanka is of Indian origin and is popular amongst Buddhist and Hindu cultures. The surname Manhas is also of Indian origin.
