Prince Albert School (possibly Prince Albert's School) is an Adventureland location mentioned in the Jungle Cruise.
Description[]
Prince Albert School was a presumably British school located in an unidentified region of, "Adventureland" during the 1930s. Given the school's British origins and proximity to locust infestations, it was most likely located in North/East Africa (possibly near the African Veldt/Umbala territory) or India (presumably the Lost Delta region) which would imply the school to be colonial.
The school's name was a tribute to Albert, Prince Consort (1819-1861), the historic husband of Queen Victoria and prince consort of the British Empire who was known to work towards educational reform. The school was known to host the annual, "Charity Bazaar" of the Ladies Assistance League though on occasions it needed to be rescheduled due to locust infestations.
History[]
The Prince Albert School was known to be active during the 1930s. In the summer of 1936, the Ladies Assistance League's bazaar was postponed to the following Saturday by a locust invasion.
Appearances[]
Jungle Cruise[]
Nigel Greenwater mentions the Charity Bazaar held at the school over the Global Broadcasting Service.
Trivia[]
- Circumstancial evidence for the school being located in India's Lost Delta is that on the same broadcast as the Charity Bazaar information, Nigel Greenwater mentions strange (paranormal) activity around the Temple of the Forbidden Eye. This paranormal activity would be caused by the temple deity Mara and, "Plagues of Locust" are often affiliated with the wraths of gods in pop-culture.
- Greenwater does also mention many over-the-top natural events occurring in non Indian locations throughout his broadcast.
- Prince Albert's historic grandson Kaiser II and great-grandson Prince Joachim of Prussia are both antagonists of the 2021 Jungle Cruise film.
