Pete's Dragon is a 1977 hybrid live-action/animated feature musical made by Walt Disney Productions.
Summary[]
The film is set around the late-19th/early-20th century in the coastal town of Passamaquoddy. The protagonist is a young orphan named Pete who is on the run from his abusive adopted family while being helped by his dragon friend, Elliot. In Passamaquoddy, Pete is adopted by the lighthouse-keeper, "Lampie" and his daughter Grace while the evil snake-oil salesman Doc Terminus plans to kill his dragon to make elixirs.
Jungle Cruise connections[]
Jungle Cruise[]
In the Jungle Navigation Company's Amazon River Base is a bottle of, "Instant Relief Remedy for All Laments" by Terminus, referring to the film's villain Doc Terminus. The bottle advertises itself from being, "From across the Seven Seas".[1] As their are many different snake-oils and other elixirs in the cabinet, it is possible that many of them were sold to the Jungle Navigation Company by Doc Terminus.
Trader Sam's[]
Pete's Dragon is referenced in both of these bars.
Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar[]
