Pamelia Perkins is a character from the defunct attraction The Adventurers Club in the Pleasure Island of Downtown Disney in Walt Disney World.

History[]

Biography[]

Pamelia Perkins was a woman in the early half of the 20th century who joined the Adventurers Club, an organization of fun-loving globe-trotters founded by one Merriweather Adam Pleasure. Pamelia would be elected as club-president of the Adventurers Club and also frequently used radio-broadcastings for funds such as with the radio-show, "Tales from the Adventurers Club". Due to this, Pamelia lived at 5189 Hill Street , the club offices for the Adventures Club in Pleasure Island, Florida where the club made its headquarters.

In 1937, Pamelia oversaw an open-house on the New Year's Eve of the Adventurers Club. Pamelia also had good relations with club affiliate, Trader Sam who was friends with some of the club's founding members. In 1944, a syndicate of corrupt land-developers attempted to claim Pleasure Island to serve as a spa only for the island to be devastated by Hurricane Charlotte. A mass evacuation of the isle was lead by Merriweather Adam Pleasure but Pamelia's further fate is unknown.
