Nellie is a Jungle Cruise character from Disney's discontinued Attractionistas doll-line.

Biography[]
Nellie is a young-woman who as a young girl was often taken on expeditions through the Congo. While attending the Disney Parks, Nellie took a love for the attraction, "The Jungle Cruise" and developed a dream for photographing the deepest and darkest parts of the jungle. When a magical shooting-star passed over the parks, Nellie and her friends were transformed into characters within their favourite attractions. This turned Nellie into a green-skinned adventurer who lived within the Jungle Cruise universe. She has a pet cat resembling a tiger whom she named, "Congo".
Development history[]
Nellie was a character created for Disney's Attractionistas line in 2015. This doll-line was made to capitalize on the success of Mattel's Monster High doll-line albeit replacing famous monsters with Disney Parks attractions.
Trivia[]
- Nellie's name comes from the boat the Nile Nellie from the Magic Kingdom's Jungle Cruise and Hong Kong Disneyland's Jungle River Cruise.
- Nellie's pet is inspired by the Indochinese tiger.
