Mount Kilimanjaro is a dormant volcano in the Kilimanjaro region of North-Eastern Tanzania. It is the fourth highest mountain-peak on earth, being known as one of the, "Seven Summits". Kilimanjaro has three volcanic cones: Kibo, Mawenzi, and Shira.

In the early 20th century, the colonial German Empire deemed the Kilimanjaro region as a a game reserve and in 1921, a game reserve. The region only became a national-park in the year 1973 and a world-heritage site in 1987.

Mount Kilimanjaro is the namesake for the fictional company Kilimanjaro Safaris and the attraction of the same name. The mountain appears on the logo for the company but does not appear in the ride itself which is set in the East-African port of Harambe.
Tusker House[]
On a board in this establishment is a board for drivers (presumably employed by Kilimanjaro Safaris) and their task schedules. One is for a driver named Kalaitzakis assigned with a, "Mt. Kili Fly-over".[1]
Jungle Cruise[]
The water-feature, "The Rapids of Kilimanjaro" encountered after passing under Schweitzer Falls is named for Mount Kilimanjaro. It is unknown if the rapids would have any geographical connection to the mountain however, given Schweitzer Falls' typical setting in North Africa along the Nile river (likely in Egypt or Sudan) though intersecting with the Congo river and Zambezi river via the supernatural Rivers of Adventure.
