Marshall Lamm is a character affiliated with the Jungle Cruise inspired attraction, Na'vi River Journey. He is portrayed by actor Jon Landau. He is the in-universe creator of the Na'vi River Journey excursions.

History[]

Background[]

Marshall Lamm was a human colonist who lived for many years in the Valley of Mo'ara on the alien exo-moon of Pandora. Marshall had a wife named Julie and two children named Jamie and Jodie who stayed on Earth. Lamm often worked to try and unite the human and native Na'vi communities, even being the inventor of devices which could translate Na'vi into English.[1]

Due to this, Marshall would found the interstellar tourism company Alpha Centauri Expeditions while also serving on the board of the Pandora Conservation Initiative. Lamm had ACE work with the PCI and local Omaticaya Clan while also managing attractions for Earth tourists. Amongst these were a jungle cruise through the rainforests of the Kaspavan river which he created in partnership with the Shaman of Songs.

Development history[]

Throughout development of Pandora: The World of Avatar, Lamm's exact position changed with the story. It was originally planned for Pandora: The World of Avatar to be an in-universe recreation of Pandora in Disney's Animal Kingdom rather than the moon itself. In this story, Lamm would have arranged for the construction.[2]
