Little Red is an audio-animatronic African elephant character from Kilimanjaro Safaris.
History[]
Background[]
Little Red was the African elephant offspring of Big Red in the Harambe Wildlife Reserve. The two animals were somewhat famous for safari-goers. Around the 1990s/2000s, Big Red was killed by poachers for her ivory tusks while Little Red was captured by them. Little Red was however saved by the joined efforts of reserve warden Wilson Matua and the Kilimanjaro Safaris jeep, the SIMBA-1.
Development history[]
Little Red was part of Kilimanjaro Safaris' original, darker storyline. Guests would encounter the carcass of Big Red and have to race to save Little Red from the poachers. This storyline was reduced and redacted over the years.

There are posters alluding to Little Red in the queue. Outside of the Warden's cabin is a jeep with the licence plate, "L1L R3D".
Trivia[]
- Little Red is similar to Ellie from the Jungle Cruise in being a young, audio-animatronic elephant who appeared at the end of their respective attraction.
