Background[]
Kungaloosh Kate was a skipper for the colonial Jungle Navigation Company during the 1930s. She got the nickname "Kungaloosh Kate" from the greeting of the Adventurers Club which had some ties to the JNC. In the winter of 1938, she was given the task of travelling along the Rivers of Adventure from the JNC's West Dock in the Lost Delta of India to their East Dock of the Amazon Rainforest during December of that year. Using the crew shift exchange board in the East Dock, she tried to give this shift to Skipper Alex though it is unknown if a duty manager would approve of this.

Reference to Kungaloosh Kate was added to Walt Disney World's Jungle Cruise by 2023. Her name is a tribute to the extinct "Adventurers Club" of Walt Disney World's Downtown Disney.
