Kiume is a character from the Lion King themed show Festival of the Lion King at Disney's Animal Kingdom.

Biography[]
Kiume was an African baritone/base singer and performer around the late-20th/early 21st century.[1] Kiume lead a band of performers which included Nakawa, Kibibi, and Zawadi. This acting-troop became affiliated with Simba, the lion king of the Pride Lands whom they celebrated via a show called, "Festival of the Lion King". This show travelled across Africa, notably stopping in the Harambe Theatre of Harambe in East-Africa.

Kiume's band was hosted in Harambe, the setting of Kilimanjaro Safaris. Kilimanjaro Safaris also has several allusions and connections to the Lion King.
Trivia[]
- During the Festival of the Lion King performance, Kiume portrays Simba's evil uncle, "Scar". In Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom, Scar was antagonist for the Jungle Cruise/Lion King themed missions.
