History[]
Background[]
The Kissimmee Kimmy was a steamboat used by the colonial Jungle Navigation Company to traverse the Rivers of Adventure during the 1930s. In 1936, the boat had run aground on two occasions in the same week. Later in this same week, the Kimmy ran aground along the Nile River (and either departed or was slated to return on a Friday). After this third incident, the boat was decommissioned.[1]
Development history[]
Reference to the Kissimmee Kimmy was removed in the 2020s refurbishments, replacing the board with one saying actual Jungle Cruise boats.
Appearances[]
Jungle Cruise[]

Trivia[]
- During the Jingle Cruise, reference to the Kissimmee Kimmy was replaced with the Yule Kissimmee.
