Jungle Cruise[]
The Kissimmee Kate appears only in Disneyland's Jungle Cruise. In the queue, it appears on a board listing boats along with a gag where instead of writing its date of arrival/departure, an employee wrote, "Yes please" in response to, "Kissimmee Kate". The board mentions the Kate arriving on-time for the first time in its history, returning from the Irrawaddy.[1]

Trivia[]
- Kissimmee Kate's Magic Kingdom counterpart was the Kwango Kate which was decommissioned in 2021 but continues to be used in Jungle Cruise: Wildlife Expeditions and as a show-scene in the American parks' Chimp Country/Hippo Pool scenes.
- The boat is likely named for the 1948 musical, Kiss Me, Kate, an adaptation of William Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew. The name Kate in the play refers to the character of Katherine/Kate Minola.
- The Kissimmee Kate might be named in tribute for actress Katherine Hepburn (1907-2003) who played Rose Sayer in The African Queen (1951) which influenced Harper Goff in his development of the Jungle Cruise.
