King cobras (Ophiophagus hannah) are an animal in the Jungle Cruise.
Description[]
King Cobras are (contrary to their name) not true cobras (snakes of the genus Naja), instead belonging to the genus Ophiophagus. They are a species of venomous snake native to India but which in the Jungle Cruise can also be found in Burma and Cambodia. Their main food-source in real-life comes from hunting other snakes, including members of its own species.
