K. Lively was an author who wrote various animal based books by the year 1938. Amongst these were: The Panther Book, The Baboon Book The Snake Book, The Monkey Boat, The Tiger Book and The Kakapo Book.

Development history[]

K. Lively is a tribute to Disneyland cast-member turned writer and story-editor at Walt Disney Imagineering, Kevin Lively. The character was first referenced in the Skipper Canteen, and later in the 2021 refurbishment of the Jungle Cruise in Walt Disney World.
