Background[]
The Jungle Princess was used by the Jungle Navigation Company on the Rivers of Adventure during the 1930s. The Jungle Princess was sent out into the Congo Basin around 1935. The last sighting of the Princess was on May 27th, presumably in 1936. The boat was later presumed as missing and by 1938 had seemingly stopped being used.
Development history[]
Reference to the Jungle Princess was removed in the 2020s refurbishments, replacing the board with one saying actual Jungle Cruise boats.

The boat was mentioned on a chalkboard in the lookout portion of the queue. The boat was mentioned as having departed or slated to arrive on a Sunday, and was noted as, "missing? last seen 5-27".[1]
Trivia[]
- The boat's name might be a play on the African Queen, the eponymous boat from the film which inspired the Jungle Cruise.
- During the Jingle Cruise, reference to the boat was omitted for reference to the Congo Caroler.
