The Jungle Navigation Company Ticket Booth is a building from the Magic Kingdom's Jungle Cruise.


Description[]

The Ticket Booth is a small building located nearby the Amazon River Base of the colonial, Jungle Navigation Company. The structure was made from bamboo with a roof of rusted scrap-metal and was located near an overlook of the river. The building was used to hire the Jungle Navigation Company's services for transport, cargo transport, mail delivery, and tourism.

History[]

Background[]

By 1938, this building was used for conducting business for the colonial Jungle Navigation Company's operations in the Amazon rainforest. For a time, the kiosk allowed for payments in, "E-Coupons" though these were eventually discontinued. Around the December of 1938, the booth offered free Jungle Cruise tours.

Development history[]

The building was added in a 2022 update of the Jungle Cruise, repurposing a kiosk in the same location.

This kiosk appears near the exit of the Magic Kingdom's Jungle Cruise.

Trivia[]

  • The, "Half way for half fare" sign is inspired by a similar sign at a ticket agent willow in the boathouse of Disneyland's Jungle Cruise.
  • The, "E-Coupons" mentioned as no longer being accepted are a reference to the E-Tickets which the Disney Parks used to use.
