Jack is a character from the Jungle Cruise.
History[]
Biography[]
Jack was a skipper for the Jungle Navigation Company around the mid 1930s where he was pilot of the Mekong Maiden. Jack was piloting the boat when it was attacked by hippos in the Hippo Pool near the African veldt, causing him to lose a shipment of Earl Grey tea. Because of losing this shipment, Jack became contacted by JNC client Sir Reginald to negotiate a shipment of Earl Grey tea, quinine, mosquito netting and piano wire.
Upon making his return to the boathouse, Jack arranged to play a game of rummy with another JNC employee. Around 1936, the Mekong Maiden mysteriously disappeared along with the Magdalena Maiden. Due to how close the disappearance was to Jack's adventures along the African veldt, it is likely (though not known for sure) that Jack never made it back to base and was the skipper who was piloting the Mekong Maiden at the time.
Development history[]
Radio transmissions from Jack played in the queue before being removed in 2021 for transmissions connected to the new storyline. He was identified as skipper of the Mekong Maiden, a boat which was removed from Disneyland's Jungle Cruise before being made the subject of an in-universe mystery.
Appearances[]

Removed transmissions in the queue played Jack's different conversations.
Trivia[]
- If Jack was piloting the Mekong Maiden when it disappeared, this would mean he was in possession of the Adventureland map created by Frank Wolff and modified by Alberta Falls.
- Sir Reginald frequently referred to Jack as, "Colonel", possibly implying a military history though it may have also just been a friendly term of address used by the knight.
