The Goliath Spiders are the (possibly retconned) name for a fictitious species of spider originating from the Jungle Cruise.
Description[]
The Goliath Spiders are large orange/brown carnivorous spiders. They inhabited the flooded ruins along the Mekong river in Cambodia.

Haunted Mansion[]
The spiders used to appear in the Magic Kingdom's Haunted Mansion. The spiders appeared in a dark-chamber with a stair-case where they crawled within spider-webs. A removed feature included a wailing man or skeleton caught within their web as their food. They were removed from the Magic Kingdom in a 2006 refurbishment but remain in the Tokyo Disneyland version of the attraction.
Haunted Mansion Holiday Nightmare[]
In this overlay, the spiders terrorize caged bugs left in the mansion for Oogie Boogie by, "Sandy Claws".
Jungle Cruise[]
The spiders appear within the Cambodian temple, crawling on webs.
