History[]
The Ganges Gal was a steamboat used by the Jungle Navigation Company since at-least the early 1930s. Around the November 19 of 1932, the boat went missing in the Lost River Delta of Peru.[1] The JNC attempted to cover up the disappearance though the Daily Colonial Journal reported on this however with the ultimate outcome remaining a mystery. The Ganges Gal (or another boat of the same name) would continue to be used throughout the 1930s, well into 1938.

Jungle Cruise[]
The Ganges Gal is a boat in Disneyland's Jungle Cruise. A board in the boathouse mentions it being soon to arrive in the Lost Delta after travelling there on the Rivers of Adventure from the Amazon.[2]
Jingle Cruise[]
During Disneyland's extant Jingle Cruise overlays, the Ganges Gal was renamed to the Ganges Garland and to the Gingerbread Gal.
Jungle River Cruise[]
The Ganges Gal is a wheelchair accessible boat in this version of the attraction.
Jungle River Cruise: Curse of the Emerald Trinity[]
The Daily Colonial Journal featured a story on the Ganges Gal disappearing in the Lost River Delta the December of 1932 and the Jungle Navigation Company covering this up.
Magic of Disney Animation[]
The credits for a fictional Jungle Cruise film starring Mickey and Minnie Mouse referenced the Ganges Gal in the credits along with the Congo Queen and Amazon Belle.
