The Elephant Safari Company is a fictional organization from the Jungle Cruise.
Description[]
The Elephant Safari Company was a business in the 1930s which ran elephant-back tours of the plains of Africa, India, Ceylon, and Persia. They hired experienced expeditioners and also had daily tiger sighting tours. The company had an apparent affiliation with the Jungle Navigation Company, having advertised themselves in their Amazon River Boathouse and on AWOL Airwaves.

Trivia[]
- When Awol says, "Lions and tigers and bears, oh my" in reference to the company, this is a reference to the film The Wizard of Oz (1939).
- In real-life, elephant safaris are a form of animal abuse as unlike mountable animals like horses, elephant spines are several damaged by pressure applied to the tops of them.
- An unused gag made for the Jungle Cruise by Marc Davis would have featured a white colonial hunter on elephant-back, attempting to kill a tiger.
- In Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Forbidden Eye, various tourists are shown in the Eye on the Globe newsreel as using elephant-back transport to travel to the Lost Delta.
