An E ticket or officially E Coupon was a ticket used in the Disney Parks for admission to the parks most popular attractions, including to the Jungle Cruise and Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room. The tickets were discontinued in 1982 though the term is still used to refer to high-production theme-park attractions.
History[]
The tickets were introduced to Disneyland in the June of 1959 as an alternative to their A-D tier attraction ranking system, used since Disneyland's opening in 1955. Due to competition from Six Flags Magic Mountain, Disney progressively phased out the use of the ranked tickets as Six Flags did not have admission ticket systems. In the late 1970s, Disney introduced unlimited use tickets until the June of 1982 when the tickets were phased out.

Jungle Cruise[]
Outside of the exit of the Magic Kingdom's Jungle Cruise is a faux ticket booth for the colonial Jungle Navigation Company's Amazon River Base. The sign on the building mentions no-longer accepting, "E coupons".
