Dr. David John Marley also known as, "Doctor Skipper" is a former, "Skipper" cast-member for the Jungle Cruise at Disneyland and later history professor for California State University Fullerton and California State University Northridge.
Jungle Cruise tributes[]
- The name, "Prof. Marley" is on a barrel in the mess hall of the Skipper Canteen. This barrel is labelled as containing, "The Backside of Water" and is to be shipped at his offices in Marshall College, a location from Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981).
- In the library of the skipper canteen is a book titled, "Culture of the River Guide" by Dr. D. Marley.[2]
