Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is a resort in Walt Disney World. It is the location of the Jungle Cruise spin-off, Trader Sam's Grog Grotto.

Backstory[]
This resort is set in a Polynesian Village along the Seven Seas Lagoon of Polynesia. The patron deity of the village is the folk-hero Māui and over the years who roped the sun for human kind. Over the years, the village has been visited by notable figures such as Moana, Lilo Pelekai, Stitch, Captain Nemo of The Nautilus submarine, Mr. J. Thaddeus Toad and Trader Sam.

- The Polynesian resort is geographically located across from the Magic Kingdom's Adventureland to maintain theme.
- The gods of the Enchanted Tiki Room are scattered throughout the resort.
- In the Grog Grotto is the sign for Samoa Snacks, a shop which was removed from the resort to make way for the Moana Mercantile.
- The resort's mascot Maui is featured on the doors to Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar and in both bars as the likeness for the Hippopotomai-Tai drink, based on the Hippo Pool from the Jungle Cruise.
