Desert Hawk is a character from the Random Acts of Indy feature of the Indiana Jones Summer of Hidden Mysteries, connected to the story of Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Forbidden Eye and the Jungle Cruise.
History[]
Background[]
Origins[]
Desert Hawk was a thief and hunter of unknown origin during the 1930s. By the summer of 1935, he had had some confrontation with archaeologist/adventurer, Indiana Jones.
Fight for the Map[]
In the Summer of 1935, Desert Hawk followed Indiana Jones to the Lost Delta of India where Jones was using a map to try and locate the lost Temple of the Forbidden Eye. Desert Hawk confronted Indiana Jones when Indy was on the upper levels of the boathouse used by the Jungle Navigation Company. Indy and Desert Hawk fought using oars as staffs before Indy got Desert Hawk to the floor and smashed him with a nearby crate, rendering him unconscious.
Indiana then left to find higher-ground, and did so from a balcony over the Adventureland Bazaar. Desert Hawk fought Indiana here again, with this fight having Indy use a fishnet and potted plant. Desert Hawk managed to take the map from Indy, however. After this, Indy pursued Desert Hawk to a large treehouse where they fought on a drawbridge. Indy managed to use his whip to grab the map from Desert Hawk's hands before beating him to the ground.
Desert Hawk's later fate is unknown.
