Crocodile Country is a region along the Nile river of North Africa. It was marked by tribal totems, potentially left by the region's native Umbala tribe. Crocodile Country was inhabited by Nile Crocodiles, hence its name.
History[]
Crocodile Country is a region along the Nile river which was inhabited by Nile crocodiles. Some Indigenous African individuals marked the region with totems. The region was frequently passed-by by skippers of the Jungle Navigation Company who developed a familiarity with the crocodiles within. The region would presumably be located in the nation of Sudan or Egypt due to their placement along the Nile river in North Africa.

- From 2016-2017, jokes about children being eaten by crocodiles was removed from the attraction when a child was killed by crocodiles at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.[1]
