Coca-Cola was created in 1892 selling Pemberton's French Wine Coca or Coca-Cola, a drink made with the addictive stimulant drug cocaine. For much of its history, Coca-Cola advertised the drug-infused drink as having medicinal value. The company stopped selling drug-infused Coke in 1903, replacing it with normal leaves.
