Charles Samuel Addams, often signed as Chas Addams (1912-1988) is a historic artist and cartoonist, best known as the creator of the dark-humoured Addams Family. His artwork can be found in Trader Sam's.

Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar

Multiple works of Addams' have been framed to decorate Trader Sam's bar. One cartoon in particular was removed in 2021, depicting a group of dark-skinned natives with minstrel-lips parading around with severed heads on sticks causing onlooking colonists to say, "Why, there's Carter now". One which can be currently found in the bar depicts a man using a javeling to leap over a limbo-pole.
