- Mekong river: The Mekong is a large river passing from the Tibetan Plateau through China, Myanmar, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam. The Cambodian regions of the Mekong were part of the Rivers of Adventure, a mystical series of waterways across the globe that made up the realm of Adventureland.
- Tonlé Sap:
- Shir Lee Temple: This was a Buddhist temple located along the Mekong river in modern Cambodia with a statue dedicated to Khmer king Jayavarman VII and vast amount of treasures. The temple was flooded and left in ruins, was located along the mystical Rivers of Adventure, and had a magical connection to the pendents Tiger of Courage, Elephant of Wisdom and Monkey of Cleverness.
- Indian Elephant Bathing Pool: This was a secretive and sacred pool behind the temple which was used by Indian elephants. Due to the rivers of adventure, this pool connected to the Ganges River of India and Irrawaddy River of Burma.

In the Adventure Trading Company, the Elephant Jujus were modelled after elephants in the Cambodian shrine, a fact referenced in The Daily Gnus newspaper.A board for the Jungle Navigation Company mentioned transporting a cargo of, "Rare Juju" from the Cambodian Shrine to the Westward Ho Trading Company.

The Shir Lee Temple/Cambodian ruins scenes are set in Cambodia. These ruins are modelled after the real-life ruins of Angkor Wat in Northern Cambodia.
Jungle Cruise (Disneyland)[]
The ruins scene was set in Cambodia up until 2021 when a refurbishment changed the ruins to being located along the Irrawaddy River of Burma. The Indian elephant bathing pool is a feature set in Cambodia though the map in the queue only mentions it connecting to India's Ganges River and Burma's Irrawaddy River.
Jungle Cruise (Magic Kingdom)[]
The temple and Indian elephant bathing pool in this version of the attraction are still set in Cambodia. In the queue, Cambodia is mapped on an advertisement for the Jungle Navigation Company's business, "Lotus Tours" which notably highlights the ruins of Angkor. A map by Frank Wolff also details the region of Shir Lee's Temple and the Indian elephant bathing pool.
Jungle Cruise: Wildlife Expeditions[]
The Shir Lee Temple appears in this version of the ride albeit much more magical, being brought to life by the Tiger of Courage, Elephant of Wisdom and Monkey of Cleverness pendents traded by Chief Nah-mee which represent a connection to nature.

A portrait shows Dr. Albert Falls and Luana Teixeira outside Shir Lee's Temple in 1888. There is also a book in the library titled, "The Lost Temple of Shir Lee" by one Mo Williams. Cambodia is also shown on a map by Jason Chandler and Captain Brieux titled, "Legendary Flying Beasts of the Mekong Legendary Flying Beasts of the Mekong river and the surrounding territories".
Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar[]
There is a photograph of the Indian elephant bathing pool in this bar. Along with it is a note from Trader Sam which reads, "I spilled a barrel of my first drink recipe into this once vacant spot in the river and the next day a whole bunch of elephants showed up".
