The Branco Beauty is an unseen boat from the Jungle Cruise.

Description[]

The Branco Beauty was one of the tramp steamers used by the Jungle Navigation Company in the 1930s.

History[]

Background[]

The Branco Beauty was used by the JNC around 1936, named for the Branco River in Brazil. While attempting to return to the boathouse in the Lost Delta, they ran aground just south of Manaus. The skipper made a transmission about this, and their plans to wait for the tides to change before returning. By 1938, the boathouse seemingly stopped using the boat.

Appearances[]
