Blaine Gibson was an animator, sculptor and imagineer for Disney. He created many of the sculpts used for character on the Jungle Cruise including the gorilla raiders and elephants of the Indian elephant bathing pool.[1][2] Some of Blaine's sculpts made for other Disney attractions were repurposed for the Jungle Cruise such as the Haunted Mansion's caretaker being used for a man in the Magic Kingdom's original Lost Safari.
