Baobab trees, scientifically known as adansonia are a genus of tree.

Description[]

Baobab trees are a genus of deciduous tree native to mainland Africa and Madagascar. The trees are sometimes nicknamed the, "Upside down trees" due to them having branches which can resemble upturned roots. The trees are long-lived and have short sessions of reproduction which lasts for a maximum of 15 hours.
