History[]
Backstory[]
The Adventure Trading Company is a fictional trading-company going back to at-least the 15th century. The company trades in Jujus, talismans representing different virtues in adventuring. In the 1930s (around 1936[1]), they made their base in the Indiana Jones Adventure Outpost. Guests represent, "Adventureland" denizens attempting to earn the jujus and membership.
Summary[]
Guests were sent on a variety of missions, each based around a different juju with different virtues associated with it. These included:
- Bird Juju: In this mission, players assisted Tiki Kiki Serbano by recruiting different birds to join the Enchanted Tiki Room as performers.
- Elephant Juju: The Elephant Juju represents tracking but the Jungle Navigation Company lost a shipment of the jujus. Guests had to track down the missing cargo to earn the juju.
- Eye of Mara Juju: To prove virtues of knowledge, guests assisted Indiana Jones' archaeology team in the Lost Delta by deciphering Maraglyphics from the Temple of the Forbidden Eye.
- Pineapple Juju: This mission represented goodwill by having guests become Ambassadors of Adventureland.
- Pirahnahahaha Juju: In this mission, guests had to assist Skip Dockmonkey in getting his job at the Jungle Navigation Company back. Players proved humour by using skipper humour with his employers to get him hired.
- Snake Juju: Players went to the restaurant Bengal Barbecue where they proved courage by drinking Venomade, a beverage made from cobra eggs and venom.
- Tiki Mask Juju: Guests had to go to Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar and help Trader Sam's employees find the recipe for JujuJuice which they lost. Players can find the recipe hidden on the backside of menus which need to be lit up.
- Treehouse Juju: Guests would travel to Tarzan's Treehouse and investigate petroglyphs at the tree's base.

- ↑ The events of the attraction coincide with ''Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Forbidden Eye'' which takes place around the July of 1936 and which centred around the ''Lost Delta Archaeological Expedition'' that transpired from 1935 to 1936. Also, while the main Jungle Cruise is typically set in 1938, the Adventure Trading Company contained many prequel-esque elements to the Jungle Cruise story.
